Sonic the Hedgehog* (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ, Sonikku za Hejjihoggu), stylized as Sonic★the★Hedgehog (ソニック★ザ★ヘッジホッグ), is a 1996 two part OVA series produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Kazunori Ikegami. The series was dubbed and released as single movie in the west as Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie by ADV Films in time for the US release of Sonic Adventure.
